Clio beaded earrings

Hello, here we are again, with my new pattern Clio beaded earrings :)

Clio earrings were originally designed for a special client's request. Therefore I used Swarovski crystals in amethyst and Aurora Borealis, such as gold and silver plated glass beads to impressionate a feeling of glory.

Clio or Kleio the muse of history and heroic poetry, is one of the nine muses, the goddesses of arts in Greek mythology. The name is etymologically derived from the Greek root κλέω/κλείω meaning to recount, to make famous or to celebrate.
This project is one of my favorite's and I really hope you like it. <3

The tutorial will be soon available in my Etsy shop

beaded sphere (Temari beads) instructions

A great book about dimensional jewelry in peyote stitch is the ''Shaped Beadwork & beyond'' by Diane Fitzgerald.
The beaded ball of Diane Fitzgerald was inspired by the Temari balls, popular japanese toys, which turned into a traditional art form.

A Temari bead is composed by twenty triangles,
each triangle is usually formed by four rows (picture 1)

Zip the next five triangles to the pentagon, to form a star, and obtain half temari bead (pictures 4-5)

Make an identical star, add connector beads (picture 6),

I was asked for a tutorial so I try to make this one and share it :)
All you need is thread,  needle  no12 , some  seed (or cylinder)  beads no 11/0 scissors and quite of passion about beading…
To simplify the beading tutorial, I’m not going to show you any special pattern, instead I’m going to pick two  different colours, and attach the Colour A  to the herringbone stitch and  the colour B to the peyote, so they can be easily  distinguished.
The colour '' A'' (gold)  attached to the herringbone stitch will always concern a pair of beads (A1 +A2), forming  the corners of the unit, while the colour …
